Hanna Recker is a self-taught artist based in the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria. She is known for her realistic oil paintings but also enjoys creating abstract pieces as well as digital illustrations.
Hanna has always had a passion for art – starting with pencil sketches as a kid, slowly developing her drawing skills over time, experimenting more with her creative freedom.

About my
Workflow
Idea
When you reach out with an idea and the type of commission you want, I first assess whether the project is something that I’m confident I can do. Reference photos aren’t required but can be helpful, if you’d like me to work from them.
If we decide to move forward, we’ll draw up a simple agreement outlining the scope, terms and timeline of the project.
Sketch
After that, I create a rough composition and/or sketch to give you a visual idea. Once the design is approved, a 30% deposit is made to cover potential cancellations. After receiving the deposit,
I’ll start painting and will send updates along the way to make sure you’re happy with how the painting is coming along.
Finished Piece
Once the commission is complete, I’ll send you the final invoice for the balance payment and postage costs. For digital illustrations, you’ll receive the file in the agreed-upon size and resolution. If it’s a painting, I will provide you with a tracking number as soon as I ship the package.
